Ronald L. Mock, 69, of Sweet Root Road, Bedford, died Sunday, March, 19  2017, at his residence. He was born on December 1, 1947, in Schellsburg, a son of the late Roy F. and Ruth C. (Weaver) Mock. Ron is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Steele, a daughter, Jean Ann Replogle of Manns Choice; a son Ronald Joseph Mock; two step-daughters, Denise Steele; and Robin Steele and husband John Stankan; and a step-son Brian Steele and wife Charlotte all of Bedford. He is survived by four brothers:  Roy F. Mock Jr. and wife Nancy, of Bedford; R. Carl Mock and wife, Wanda, of Pensacola, Fl; Daniel G. Mock and wife, Lisa, of Houston; and Timothy W. Mock and wife, Tracy of Fishertown; four sisters:  Judith A. Powell of Schellsburg; Patricia G. Price and husband, Wayne, of Bedford; Karon S. Mock of Schellsburg; and Sharon L. Diehl and husband, Mike of Bedford; and two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and 11 step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, David J. Mock; and niece, Jamie Lynn Pennel.

Ron served in the Army during the Vietnam War.  He then went on to work PBS Coal as a Weigh-Master for 23 years.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, Bedford, with R. Carl Mock officiating and Rev Tim Mock presenting the Message. Family and friends will be received from 10:00 a.m., until the hour of the service on Wednesday.  Burial will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park.
