Michael L. Kendall 73 of Egolf Road, Bedford died Wednesday, April 27 2016 at his residence.  He was born on May 11, 1942 in Ellerslie, MD a son of the late D. Louis and Ethel (Whisler) Kendall.  On October 17, 1966 in Ellerslie, MD he married Shirley (Chamberlain) Kendall who survives along with the following family: a daughter Michele Shaffer wife of David, two sons: Chad Kendall and wife Kelly, and Jeff Kendall, and wife Anita, all of Bedford; seven grandchildren: Brady, Matthew, Travis, Shawn, Joshua, Cory, and Alyssa; a great-granddaughter, Brayella; a sister, Nancy Lynn DeVore, of Georgia, and a brother David “Sam” Kendall Jr. and wife Janet, of Ellerslie,MD.

Mike attended the Trans Run United Methodist Church, and owned and operated a carpentry business.  He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, and his dogs. The family wished to thank his caregivers Tammi Chant and Donna Wertz for their loving care.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor Beth Pyles officiating.  Burial at Rock Hill Church Cemetery, with military rites conducted by the Everett Area Honor Guard.  Friends will be received on Sunday from 4-8 p.m., at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service on Monday.  In lieu of flowers those wishing may make memorial contributions to: Trans Run United Methodist Church, 503 E.
