Dr. June A. True 90, of New Jersey, died Sunday, December 24, 2017, at Pennknoll Village. She was born on September 3, 1927 in Brooklyn a daughter of the late Harry and Harriet (Day) True.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Dr. Norman Heap, three sons: William Albert, Norman Albert, and wife Susan, and Claude Albert; three daughters: Ruth Topper and husband John, Emily Ricketts and husband Steve, and Katie Albert; 16 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. June was preceded in death by her eldest son Paul Albert.
June earned a doctorate in Sociology from Rutgers University. She spent most of her career as a professor at Trenton State, now known as The College of N.J. June authored Finding Out: Conducting and Evaluating Social Research, published by Wadsworth in the 1980's.
