You have my deepest condolences. I worked with Verna many years ago at Murphy's uptown. She was a special lady. She was such a hard worker but she had her funny side too. I will always remember her walking down the aisles at the store, or working on her jewelry counter or harassing Mabel, or Grace. Words cannot express what is in my heart about Verna. She will hold a special place in my there. I always called her my little banty hen because she was so feisty but also so loving. May you have peace.
