My Dearest Lynda,
My Soulmate, My Wife, You Are The Love of My Life...
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the deer you watch in graze, as you sit on the porch and gaze.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle sounds of autumns rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush.
Of the buzzing hummingbirds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
I am watching as you go on in life,
I will be there through your strife.
Sharing the moments you spend at home,
I am beside you,
you are not alone.
I will share in what Joy you find,
as you will, you are so kind.
I am here with all We Love, My brother, your Mother,
and all we thought had lost one another.
Millie, Pap, Glenda, and Mark..
Knowing you will thrive in this new life you embark. So please don't stand by our grave and weep, we are with you...we do not sleep!

I remember one day at the Rogers reunion. You came. I was shocked to see you. I walked out in the field and said hi Tootie. Then I apologized for calling you that. And you asked me why I was apologizing. I said because I forgot you didn't like to be called that. You said no I like it you can call me that anytime. Then you asked who told me you didn't like to be called that And I said your mom. You laughed. I looked forward to seeing you at the reunions. Then that one day came and everyone was having a huge argument. as I walked past you I heard you say. And she said she doesn't swear. Well you can now see it wasn't me who did the swearing. I hope you RIS. I am going to miss you.. Your cuz. Grace.

My condolences to the family of Stanford. Stanford and I became friends while going to the old 2 room school in Imler. We later joined the Army together and spent time in Germany. After 2 years Stanford got out and I made the Army a career. We remained best of friends over the years and I will really miss him! Ron
