I just tried to call Maureen with a Christmas wish and was very sorry to learn of her passing. She was a great help with my genealogy work. She provided pictures, stories, and friendship. I will miss our annual conversations and I wish her family solace during their first Christmas without her.

Maureen was such an inspiration. With everything she had been through she kept going and getting around wonderfully considering her limitations. When I brought her soup recently I was amazed at how well she was doing after her recent time in the hospital. Still a fighter. It was such a privilege to become her friend while working at Spring House and afterward.

My mother, Beverly Bolinger Foor, was a life-long friend of Maureen's, until my mother's death four years ago. It was my joy to develop a personal relationship with Maureen during the years I provided Sunday worship at Spring House Estates. Her sense of humor, her spunk, and her positive attitude were such an inspiration! I stopped by to see her this past Wednesday (3/22), and she filled me in on her recent hospitalizations. Her comment to me was "I'll get better, one step at a time.". Thanks be to God that her "better" is now "best" as she moved through death to life eternal!
My husband loved talking baseball and NASCAR racing with her when he accompanied me to Spring House. He always razzed her about her favorite driver, "Jeffie". I will miss her.
God be with you in deep and comforting ways.

I am so very sorry for your loss. No matter what your age, losing a mom is always difficult.

I was so looking forward to seeing your mom after many so many years when Dee and I go to Bedford tomorrow. My sister, Dee, certainly felt Maureen was one of her very best friends since high school.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am so sorry for your loss. Maureen was a wonderful lady. I will always remember her smile. I always told her she was my inspiration, she never gave up. I am so blessed to have known her and especially to be able to call her my friend. God bless.
