Victor Albert Ensminger

Victor Albert Ensminger, 76, of Romulus, MI, formerly of Chaneysville, died Sunday, December 18, 2022 at his home in Michigan. Victor was born August 1, 1946 in Bedford. He was the second child to the late John and Margaret (Hann) Ensminger. His siblings include John (Sandy) Ensminger, Leonard (Cho) Ensminger, Margaret (Larry) Crawford, Virginia (Charles) Hockenberry and Betty (Ed) Bartholow.  On August 4, 1971, he married Lesley LeMere Fella in Wyandotte, MI and together they raised 3 children, Victor Albert, Jr, Robert William and Kathleen Marie.

Victor was a disabled Army veteran that served 2 tours in Vietnam as a Combat Engineer.

Victor leaves behind his oldest son, Victor Jr (Liza), his daughter Kathleen, 6 grandchildren, Carol, Megan, Casey, Victor III, Robert Jr and Autumn and 5 great-grandchildren, Lilian, Annabel, Daxton, Esmaree, Harper and 1 more on the way. He is also survived by his brother Leonard and his sister Betty. Victor was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lesley, his son Robert and siblings, John, Margaret and Virginia.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Jim Miller officiating. Burial at Rocky Gap National Cemetery in Flintstone, MD, with full military rites conducted by the American Legion Post #13 Honor Guard. Friends will be received from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.  Arrangements by Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford.
