Ruth Ann (Scott) Moreland

Ruth Ann Moreland, 60, of Bedford died on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. She was born on July 16, 1961, in Roaring Spring, a daughter of the late John L. and Vilma J. (Stevenson) Scott. On March 17, 2014 in Cumberland, MD, she married Robert C. Moreland and he preceded her in death on April 12, 2019.  She is survived by a son Allen N. Bridges Jr., of Bedford; two grandchildren David Lee Yarwood of Duncansville and Alexis Ann Elaine Bridges of Blue Knob; one brother:  James W. Scott and wife Debra of Fulton County; three sisters:  Cindy L. “Scottie” Scott of Roaring Spring; Mary E. Stickel and husband Dennis of Bedford; and Carla J. Holland of Altoona; and numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother Dale R. Scott, one sister Sandy Ruby, and a nephew Glen M. Otto.

Ruth was a member of the Cumberland Moose Club. She enjoyed hunting and fishing an spending time with her family.

 Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford, with Pastor Dan Gouchnour officiating.  Burial at Fellowship Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
