Ronald P. Dides

Ronald P. Dides, 52 of Bedford, died Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born on September 11, 1969 in Clearfield, the son of the late Paul and Margaret E. (Curley) Dides. On March 14, 2008 he married his love, Debbie (Klapatch) Dides in a fairy tale wedding in Disney World, who survives along with two children: Adelyn and Jonathan Dides, at home; three sisters: Cynthia L. Beach, Janice M. Peters and husband Howdy, and Paula A. Dides and companion Dick Carr Jr., all of Clearfield; and his father-in-law Joseph Klapatch, of Bedford, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Cowder and his mother-in-law, Evelyn Klapatch.

Ron began his career in 1993 with Walmart Distribution and Transportation. He has held many positions in distribution centers located in Woodland, PA, Hope Mills, NC, Tobyhanna, PA and most recently Bedford, PA as an Operations Manager.

Ron was a devoted husband and father. He adored his family and was happiest making memories and taking care of them. Ron loved the great outdoors and truly enjoyed sharing his love of baseball, football, hunting, and fishing with his children. Ron was a great friend, always willing to help wherever he could, full of honesty, integrity, patience and thoughtfulness. He will be remembered for his sparkling blue eyes and his smile that could light up a room. All those who loved Ron were truly blessed to have him in their lives.

Funeral services will be Private. Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are being accepted for Jonathan and Adelyn at FNB Bank, 124 S. Julianna St, Bedford. Our online guestbook is available www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
