Robert F. Graser

Robert Frank Graser 92, of Valrico, FL died June 24, 2020 at Melech Hospice House, Temple Terrace, FL.  He was born on November 19, 1927 in Johnstown, a son of the late Adolph Vollbrecht. and Agnes (Walsh) Zaph.  On April 10, 1947 in Johnstown he married Shirley Mae (Berkstresser) Graser who preceded him in death on January 16, 2014.  He is survived by the following family: a daughter, Christine Hamric, of Valrico, FL; a daughter, Roberta Vigar, of Stow, OH; a son, Berk Graser, of South Sandwhich, MA; and a daughter, Georganne Pawlus, of Valrico, FL; ten grandchildren: Christine Thomas, Melanie Sawtelle, Janet Haworth, David Vigar, Christopher Graser, Paige Hambly, Serina Carver, Grace Pawlus, Katya Alkhatib, and Lydia Rayburn,; fourteen great-grandchildren: Laine, Carmryn, Gavin, Lydia, Sophia, David, Emma, Jacob, Lilly, Michael, Garrett, Jason, Madison, and Livie.

Robert served in the US Navy during World War II and the Korean War.  In 1950 he moved his family to Akron, OH and retired from the Kohn Beverage Company in 1980.  He and Shirley then retired to Tampa, FL where they resided for over 31 years.

Funeral services will be held private.  Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park with full military rites conducted by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.
