Richard Pilukaitis Sr.

Richard Pilukaitis Sr., 72, of Schellsburg died on Monday, February 20, 2023 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. He was born on December 5, 1950 in South Plainfield, NJ a son of the late Victor and Margaret (Weishop) Pilukaitis. On November 5, 1993 in Lancaster, PA he married Deborah (Lau) Pilukaitis who survives along with the following family: one son Richard Pilukaitis Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Galeton; a daughter Christine Wanzer of Lancaster; two step-sons: Christopher Schrum of Bedford, and Eric Schrum and wife Larissa of Altoona; seven grandchildren: Tristan and Evelina Pilukaitis; Dillon and Caitlyn Wanzer; Owen, Evan, and Lukas Schrum; one brother Raymond Pilukaitis and wife Susan of Austin, TX. 

Richard was a member of the Faith Brethren Bible Church.  He was self-employed in the computer field and owned his own business’s Second Source in Lancaster and Vista Computers in Schellsburg.  He was a member of the Bedford Rotary Club, and enjoyed Hunting fishing, and log splitting.  He was a loving husband, father, step-father, and grandfather.   

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at the Faith Brethren Bible Church with Pastor Jim Espenshade officiating.  Arrangements by Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford.   In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Faith Brethren Church, 120 Chestnut Ridge Rd., New Paris, PA 15554.
