Phoebe V. (Adams Davis) Day

Phoebe V. (Adams Davis) Day 83, of Bedford, died Monday March 23, 2020 at her residence.  She was born on September 2, 1936 in Chaneysville a daughter of the late Howard E. and Mary M. (Miller) Adams.  She is survived by a son Thomas E. Davis Jr. married to the former Theresa Kasper, of Las Vegas, NV, and a daughter Terry Elaine Beatty and husband Ronald, of Fairland, IN; five grandchildren: Heather Gallagher, Kylei Davis Haverling and husband Justin, Deanna Fogle and husband John, Cristal J. Beatty, and Ronald A. Beatty Jr., and wife Nicole; five and half great-grandchildren; a brother Royce E. Adams and wife Helen, of Lavale, MD, a sister Carrie Ruth Smith of Needmore, a sister Pyllis L. (Adams) Price widow of Joseph, of Bedford, and A. Leon Adams and wife Gloria, of Newville; numerous nieces and nephews; special cousin Charles Miller, wonderful neighbors, and the Apple Dumpling Gang, Jean Jerral and Beth Jacobs.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Lurain Cornell widower Lynn, of Everett; and her former husband Thomas E. Davis Sr.

Phoebe enjoyed going out for dinner with her cousin Charles, traveling, and getting out of the house.  She enjoyed watching the evening television game shows, and her friends and neighbors who frequently gathered on her front porch with her.
