Margaret “Peggy” Helen Wroe Crawford 67, of Bedford died on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at her residence. She was born on March 17, 1954 at Travis AFB in CA, a daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Helen (Robinson) Wroe. On October 18, 1994, in Bedford, she married William Lee Crawford who survives along with a brother, Robert Wroe and wife Christi of Bedford; two sisters, Helen Kline and husband Ralph of Frederick, MD; and Katherine Benezra and husband Paul of Fayetteville, GA; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Margaret was a member of the First Christian Church in Everett. She owned the Georgetown Coffee Tea and Spice in Washington D.C. with her family, and also owned Old Town Antiques in Bedford with her husband. She worked at Founders Crossing the last few years. Some of her enjoyments were visiting her nieces and nephews, traveling to the beach, gardening, and looking for antiques.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford.
