Lois P. (Wilfong) Smith Holleran

Lois P. Smith Holleran 85, of Bedford, died Monday, November 8, 2021 at UPMC Bedford Hospital.  She was born on March 10, 1936 in Bedford, a son of the late Fred and Doris (Hann) Wilfong.  She is survived by the following family: a son Roger Smith and wife Janis, of Bedford, a daughter Karen Smith and husband Tracey, of Schellsburg, a son Mark Smith, of Buffalo Mills; four grandchildren: Kevin Smith, Adam Smith, Joseph Smith, and Karlie Frederick; three great-grandchildren: Ave and Andrew Frederick, and Emily Smith; a sister Margaret Ginder and husband Barry, of Manns Choice; her companion Edward Wentz; and five step-children: Eve McGillis widow of Tom, Dorothy Madore, Erin Holleran, Brenda Paradis and husband Paul, and Richard Holleran and wife Debbie.  She was preceded in death by two husbands: Charles Smith and Richard Holleran; and a brother Fred Wilfong Jr.

Lois was active with the Bedford Senior Center, and enjoyed knitting, reading, and traveling.  She was a member of the Manns Choice Church of God.

Funeral services will be private.  Burial at Madley Cemetery.  Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Lois’s name to: South Central Blind Association, 202 S. Juliana St., Bedford, PA 15522.
