Linda K. (Kauffman) Pyle

Linda Kay Pyle 81, of Friends Cove, died on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at her residence.  She was born on April 19, 1942 in Osterburg, a daughter of the late Joseph and Hulda (Ross) Kauffman.  On June 6, 1964 in Bedford, she married Jeffrey C. Pyle who survives along with their son Todd Pyle and wife Pamela, of Friends Cove; two granddaughters: Kerstin B. Pyle and significant other Nathan Shoemaker, of Pittsburgh, and Makenzie J. Pyle and significant other Ashden Koontz; and five grand-dogs.  She was preceded in death by a sister Jodi Streett.

Linda was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bedford.  She was the secretary for the family business, Jeff C. Pyle Well Drilling, until her retirement in 2017.  She enjoyed horses, dogs, cats, flower gardening, riding her motorcycle, and being outside. 

Funeral services will be held private.  Burial at Woods Church Cemetery.  Arrangements by the Timothy A.
