Joyce M. Clark, 78, of Monroeville died on Monday, March 2, 2020 at her residence. She was born on September 26, 1941, in Bedford, a daughter of the late John L. and Nellie M. (Smith) Dishong. On May 27, 1961 in Bedford, She married Ronald W. Clark who survives along with the following children: a daughter Melanie J. Duke and husband David of Ocean City, MD; a son Matthew W. Clark and wife Suzanne of Allison Park; a son John A. Clark and wife Helen of Dover; a daughter Marisa J. Clark and husband Ken of Bethel Park; five grandchildren: Emily Duke, Caitlyn Vest, Corey, Harrison, and Emmett Clark; five great-grandchildren; two sisters: Janet Crist and husband Owen and Norma J. Foor widow of Robert all of Bedford; and one brother, John Dishong and wife Barbara of Everett. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Nicole Duke, one sister, Etta Foy, two brothers: Joseph Dishong widower Martha who survives of Bedford and William Dishong.
Joyce attended and was married at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bedford before moving away. She worked her first job in Bedford selling furniture at Wolf’s and also worked for J.C. Penney’s. She was a proud Trump supporter and always had a green thumb. Her main hobby was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020, at 12:00 p.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Rev. Raymond E. Short officiating. Burial at Bedford Cemetery. Friends will be received on Thursday, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
