John J. Finn Jr.

John J. Finn, 66, of Bedford, died on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. He was born on January 8, 1957, in Boston, MA a son of the late John J. and Florence Virginia (Ryan) Finn Sr. On June 6, 1976, in Hanover, MA, he married Janina Victoria (Flynn) Finn who preceded him in death on November 22, 2015. He is survived along with the following family: two sons, John J. Finn III and wife Larissa of New Bedford, MA, Ryan K. Finn and wife Krisztina of Taunton, MA; one daughter, Diane M. Finn of Cape Cod, MA; three step-daughters, Janina B. Aubrey of Fair Haven, MA, Debbie Aubrey of New Bedford, MA, Alexus M. Aubrey of Mashpee, MA; three sisters, Mary Ann Mayer of Cape Cod, MA, Carol Watson of NC, and Sue Ann Bryant of Bedford.  Three grandchildren:  Jayden, Aaliyah, and Mykayla; four step-grandchildren:  Crystal, Jenna, Cecelia, and Janina; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by two sisters, Diane Marie Finn and Kathleen Marie Geary.

John graduated from Marshfield High School in MA. After high school he became a floral designer and eventually owned his own business called Onset Village Florist.  He was one of the few Florists to be invited to the floral and arts show called Art in Bloom that was held at the Boston Museum of fine arts. He also enjoyed poetry, arts, calligraphy and was a kind person, great father, and loving brother.
