John DeHaven Anderson 72, of Centerville, died Friday, July 16, 2021 at his residence. He was born on July 6, 1949 in Philadelphia, a son of the late Albert L. and Margaret (Pickrel) Anderson. On May 11, 2005, in Gatlinburg, TN he married Patricia (Jordan) Anderson, who survives along with three daughters: Charity Gallagher widow Earl, of Middletown, Gwen Grady and husband Stephen, of Delaware, and Lucinda Anderson and fiancé Chris Bouchard, of Cape Carol, FL; two granddaughters: Monica Flinn and fiancée Kristi, and Britni Yostin; one grandson, John Stillman, a step-great-granddaughter, Mia; one sister Kate Schmidt and husband Bob; and one sister-in-law Nancy McVey and husband George of West Chester. He was preceded in death by a brother Bill Anderson; and one sister Molly Anderson.
John retired in 2012 after 44 years of driving truck for Pepperidge Farms. He was a member of the Southern Cove Power Reunion, Horseshoe Curve Motorcycle Club, and enjoyed watching NASCAR Racing.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. at the Bedford Valley Bible Church located at 3201 Reservoir Road, Bedford, PA 15522 with Rev. John Hollis officiating.
