Jerry L. Corle Sr.

Jerry L. Corle Sr. 69, of Bedford, died Thursday, March 7, 2019.  He was born on July 14, 1949 in Bedford, a son of the late Scott C. and Wilma Jean (Moorhead) Corle Jr.  He is survived by two sons: Jerry L. Corle Jr., and Jason L. Corle and wife Nichole, both of Carlisle, and a daughter, Lori M. Snyder and husband Shawn, of Imler; seven grandchildren: Aleisa, Luke, Madison, Mikenna, Alexis, Alivia, and Isaiah; a brother, Terry S. Corle Sr. and wife Sarah, of Wilson, NC; a niece Tricia Corle, and a nephew Terry Scott Corle Jr.

Jerry worked at the former Farmers Hardware and the A & P before working as a general contractor.  For the last ten years he resided, and was head of maintenance at Friendship Village.  He loved the outdoors, music, and playing the drums and piano in the band Sonny & Nashville Sound.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Rev. Daniel Oldham officiating. Burial at St. Paul’s Reformed Church Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
