Jeffrey Myers Loshaw

Jeffrey Myers Loshaw, 64, of New Paris, passed away Wednesday, October 4th, 2023, and he is now at peace with the Lord.

Jeff was born on July 6th,1959 in Detroit, MI, a son of the late Jack & Betty (Myers) Loshaw.  Jeff attended Centerline High School, and he worked in a steel mill prior to relocating to Bedford County, PA with his immediate family.  While living in New Paris, He raised two children, and spent the bulk of his vocational career with the Hedstrom Corporation and Bedford Reinforced Plastics.  Jeff worked very hard, and he appreciated the camaraderie of his coworkers.  He loved his dogs, hunting, fishing, and maybe most, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is survived by his son, Jeffrey W. Loshaw, and his fiancé, Kayla Greenawalt, of Bedford; a daughter, Betty Ruth Everly, and her husband, Adam, of Bedford; two grandchildren:  Priscillia Koontz and husband, Brayden, of Bedford and Marcus Everly, also of Bedford; one brother, John  Loshaw, of Rochester Hills, MI; three sisters: Joy Vanneste;  Ann Stanton and husband, Ed;  and Laura Rolandt and husband, Dave, all of Merritt Island, FL; his former wife, Barbara Loshaw, of Bedford;  and his in-laws, who he viewed as parents, William and Ruth Defibaugh of Martinsburg.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Mitchell Loshaw.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 10th, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at the Manns Choice Church of God in Manns Choice, Pennsylvania, with Pastor Aaron Whetstone officiating.  Friends will be received on Tuesday 1 hour prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations please be made to the Bedford County Humane Society, . 182 Bohn Road, Bedford, PA 15522.  Arrangements by Timothy A.
