James Hardy Obituary

James Walter Hardy, 88, went home to be with his Lord early Monday morning, March 28, 2022 after a 22 year battle with cancer during which he demonstrated determination and courage and his unwavering faith. Those attributes, along with the love and support of his wife Joyce Marie Hardy sustained him through his many years fighting his illness. He was raised in South Dakota and had a love of the outdoors all his life. He served his country in the signal corps and went on to work with electronics as a career. He was devoted to his church and spent most of his adult life volunteering in a number of vital roles.

James is survived by His wife Joyce, whom he married in 1957, a son Doug, and two daughters: Robin and Rachel; as well as nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
