Harvey M. Hadix 60, of Bedford, died Saturday, October 15, 2022 at his residence. He was born on April 1, 1962 in Windber a son of the late John Luther and Edith Catherine (Spangler) Hadix. He is survived by three children: Shane Dickey and wife Natasha of Kittanning, Nathaniel Keefer and companion Morgan Smith, of Bedford, and Victoria Herline, of Central City; five grandchildren: Layla, Xander, Desiree, Zane, and Carson; companion Joy Kay Clark, of Bedford; and her children: Jacob and Rosalind Clark, six siblings: Lillie Oaks, Rosemary Kinzey, Nancy Dello, Diane DePoul, Ray Hadix, and Luther Hadix. He was preceded in death by a son Benjamin Hadix, and a step-son Devin Clark.
Harvey was an accomplished drywall finisher prior to moving to Bedford. He was a hardworking man who appreciated his parent’s way of living and being self-sufficient. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, baking, cooking, and working on his muscle cars. Harvey was a very positive man, who was devoted to his family and God.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor Daniel Oldham officiating.
