Eugene Koontz Trucking, Inc. in the late 1980s with his signature Mack trucks and bulk tanks. Gene was an active member and served on many boards at the Bedford Presbyterian Church since the 1950s. He loved family picnics, helping people, and was a very kind and generous person with a great sense of humor. He had five German Shepherd dogs throughout his life, fondly alternating the names Reb and Toby, as well as his current pup, Cassie. Gene also enjoyed hunting, and was a member of the Antique Car Club, Bedford Moose Lodge #480, and the Bedford Kiwanis Club.
