Guy Mitchell Guerin

Guy Mitchell Guerin, 68, of Bedford, died on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at his residence. He was born on January 10, 1954 in Easton, a son of the late Edward and Julia (Andrese) Guerin. On December 21, 2021 in Fishertown after being together for over 17 years he married Cheryl Ann Burkey-Guerin who survives along with a brother, Kenneth Guerin of Poconos; a sister, Priscilla Guerin of Hershey; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Guy was a member of the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard.  He spent some time working in the heating and air conditioning field before working for Transteck Freightliner in Altoona.  His favorite hobby was riding his motorcycle and he took the opportunity to travel the world on it. He enjoyed the men’s prayer breakfast at the church that was held once a month, and also enjoyed spending time with his family, talking with people and children.    

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church with Rev. Dan Oldham officiating.  Friends are invited to a meal and fellowship at the church that is being served before the service at 4:30 p.m. Arrangements by the Timothy A.
