Glenn C. Fisher Sr., 72, of Cumberland Road, Bedford, died on Monday evening, March 1, 2010 at his residence. He was born on March 25, 1937 in Lancaster County, son of the late Jacob and Anna (Sigman) Fisher. On April 27, 1956 in Lancaster County, he married Mary Alice Myers, and she survives along with three children: LuAnn Foor, Glenn C. Fisher Jr., and Melody S. Fisher, all of Bedford; two grandchildren: Denny Ryan Fisher and Emily Janette Fisher; a great-grandson, Noah; and a brother, Fred J. Fisher and wife Jeanne of Willow Street. He was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Murphy. Glenn was a member of the Bedford Bible Church and had been an insurance agent for Modern Woodmen of America. He was member of the former Kiwanis Club, and was active with the Humane Society of Bedford County. Friends will be received at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Dewald Funeral Home in Quarryville, in Lancaster County on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 2 p.m. with the visitation from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial at the Willow Street Mennonite Cemetery in Willow Street.
