George Drenning Obituary

George E. Drenning 70, of Manns Choice, died Saturday, March 23, 2024.  He was born on March 11, 1954 in Bedford a son of the late George W. and Theresa (O’Brien) Drenning.  On July 7, 2016 he married Deborah (Whisner) Drenning who survives along with two children: Amanda Braman and husband Thomas of Bedford and Keith Drenning of Manns Choice; a grandson: Jaxson Braman of Bedford; a brother James Drenning widower of Denise of Hagerstown, MD; a step-daughter Desire` Dempster of Farmington, MN; and a step-brother Kelly Yingling of Bedford.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Deborah (Porter) Drenning; three siblings: Joseph Drenning, Harry Drenning, and Karen Wareham; and a step-son, Mykal Dempster. 

George attended Bedford High School and retired from the Carpenters Union Hall 1024 Cumberland, MD.  He was a member of the New Baltimore Sportsman’s Club and was affiliated with the Side by Side with Veterans organization.  George loved his three dogs Mr. B, Nay Nay, and Bella.  He also liked to hunt, fish, and spend time with friends and family, especially with his grandson Jaxson, who was his pride and joy.
