Frederick was a Sgt in the Army during WWII.  He was very proud of his service as a tank commander.  He served most of his time in France and Germany. After WWII he drove truck for Studabakers’s and then Interstate, SAC, Bedford Twp., and Zembower Oil.  After he was done driving for other companies, he owned his own trucks and hauled steel.

He owned the Exxon station at the turnpike interchange in Bedford for 10 years, and bought and sold real estate in town with his partners.  He volunteered with the VA transporting people to their appointments in Altoona.  He and his wife fostered over 40 children together over a 10 year span.  He enjoyed woodworking and was a 68 year member and served on different boards at Real Life Church in Bedford. The family is thankful for the support and love from their Church family especially Chris Beasley.
