Frances E. Defibaugh, 74, of Centerville, died Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Magee-Womens Hospital, in Pittsburgh. She was born on December 21, 1943 in Salisbury, a daughter of the late Gordon W. and Helen V. (Bodes) Moser. On November 10, 1962 in Bedford, she married W. Lee Defibaugh who survives along with the following family: a daughter, Tara L. Brenner and husband John D. Jr., of Carlisle, two sons, Tyler L. Defibaugh, of Centerville, and Tanner L. Defibaugh and wife Jeanna, of Bedford; six grandchildren: Jacob Brenner, Ashley Defibaugh, Mason, Madison, Marshall, and Maxwell Defibaugh; two aunts, Aretta Mae “Sally” Moser, of Sterling, VA, and Gladys DeMuth, of Timonium, MD; two brothers: Arden E. Moser, of Alexandria, VA, and Rodney “Pete” Moser, of Osterburg; and two sisters: Rebecca Toth and husband Timothy, of Schellsburg, and Elizabeth Speicher and husband Joseph, of Manns Choice. She was preceded in death by a sister, Argel Jean Moser.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor John Hollis officiating. Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park. Friends will be received on Sunday, from 5-8 p.m., at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
