Dr. H. Eric McDonald

Dr. H. Eric McDonald, 70, of Everett, died on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home.  He was born on June 2, 1950 in Altoona a son of the late Ross F. and Bracey (Claar) McDonald.  On July 17, 1976 in Reedsville, he married Joan (Wilson) McDonald who survives along with the following family: a son Jackson K. McDonald, of Lewistown, a son Ross W. McDonald, of Everett, a daughter Darah K. E. McDonald, of Everett; and a brother William J. McDonald and wife Virginia, of Silver Spring, MD.

Dr. McDonald graduated from Claysburg Kimmel High School in 1968 and then obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in biology from Lock Haven University, and a Master’s Degree from Shippensburg University.  He then enrolled in Pennsylvania College of Chiropractic in Bucks County and graduated in 1984.  Dr. McDonald operated his chiropractic office behind the hospital for 24 years.  He enjoyed working outdoors and landscaping.

A graveside service will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Geyer officiating.  Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford.  Our online guestbook is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
