Dolsie M. (Potts) Diehl

Dolsie M. Diehl 104, of Bedford died on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Bedford Colonial Courtyard.  She was born on January 31, 1916 in Rainsburg, a daughter of the late Americus Enfield and Elsie Marie (Howsare) Potts.  She was preceded in death by her husband Austin Sherman Wilberforce Diehl.  She is survived by a daughter, Kathryn Cady and husband Mark, of Cosby, TN; a granddaughter Rhonda Osborne and husband Gary, of Attica, IN; two great-grandchildren: Daniel Osborne and wife Jenna, and Caleb Osborne and wife Hannah all of Attica, IN; three great-great-grandchildren, Grace Elizabeth Osborne, Ruth Louise Osborne and Wyatt Allen Osborne; three nieces: Jackie Sarver of Fort Ashby, WV;  Norma Zembower of Bedford; Diane Smith of Chambersburg; a nephew Sheldon Price of Bedford; and several great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Stufft; three sisters: Mary Dibert, Ida May, and Alma Hartman.

Dolsie was a member of the Friends Cove United Methodist Church. Some of her enjoyments were staying at home, canning, picking berries and taking care of her garden and was known for her cooking and keeping a clean house.
