Clyde was an avid music enthusiast, who could tell you the name of the song, who sang it, who wrote it, and the story behind the group who recorded it. His favorite past time was watching old movies and tv shows, of which he could name the actors and their backgrounds, all without ever owning a computer.
His love of football led him to be one of the founding members of the Bedford Football Draft League. He was a dedicated viewer of the NFL Draft. His favorite team was the Baltimore Ravens. He loved animals, especially dogs. He kept the neighborhood birds and squirrels well fed. He supported the Bedford Humane Society, donating items in need. Clyde was a lifelong member of the American Legion. He always had a joke for anyone he met.
