Charles E. 'Chuck' O'Shea

Charles E. ‘Chuck’ O’Shea 79, of Bedford, died Wednesday April 18, 2018 at his residence.  He was born on March 13, 1939 in Bedford, a son of the late Donald O’Shea and Helen (Rose) Drenning.  On November 14, 1964 he married Helen (Weyant) O’Shea who survives along with the following family: a son, Michael O’Shea widower of Tracy, and a daughter Sheila Easter and husband Joel, both of Bedford; and four grandchildren: Cody and Aiden O’Shea, Trey Easter and wife Chelsea, and Ryan Easter and fiancée Kate Shirey.

Chuck retired from Hedstrom, and also worked at the Bedford Springs Hotel, JLG, and Easters Janitorial.  He was a member of the Bedford Church of the Brethren, and enjoyed golfing, bowling, and annual trips to Rehoboth Beach with their beach group.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., at the Bedford Church of the Brethren with Rev. Jan King officiating.  Friends will be received on Friday, from 5-8 p.m., at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.  In lieu of flowers those wishing may make memorial contributions in Chuck’s name to: Bedford Church of the Brethren, 310 Donahue Manor Road, Bedford, PA 15522.
