Carl J. Good Sr. 79, of Bedford, died Monday, April 26, 2021 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home. He was born on March 19, 1942 in Johnstown a son of the late Clyde and Ada (Blough) Good. He married Nancy (Leader) Good who survives along with two sons: Carl J. Good Jr., of Erie, and Paul Good and wife Eileen, of Waldorf, MD; four grandchildren: Wesley, Cameron, Sabrina, and John Good; a brother Lester Good and wife Dorie, and two sisters Marjie Hoffman, and Betty Shaffer, all of Johnstown. He was preceded in death by four brothers: Virgil, Clyde, Robert, and Paul Good.
Carl was an Air Force Veteran, and retired as a Project Manager/Engineer for H.F. Lenz in Johnstown. He attended many churches including: Maple Springs, Middle Creek, and Missional Church. Carl loved volunteering for other people to make their life easier such as: Building Cabins at Camp Harmony, several trips to volunteer at church camp in Florida, several mission trips to Honduras, Texas, Louisiana, and Florida, and he even helped build and designed a pineapple factory for an orphanage. Carl loved his family, especially the grandkids, and his greatest gift was his love of people! But his greatest love was GOLFING!
