Beverly Ann (Mummert) Landis

Beverly Ann Landis, 62 of Manns Choice, passed away on Wednesday March 5, 2020, at her home.  She was born on August 3, 1957 in Cumberland, MD. A daughter of the late Fay and Marjorie (Joy) Mummert.  On September 3, 2005 in Bedford She married Judd R. Landis Jr. and he survives along with the following children:  a son Jesse Wyatt and wife Grace of Baltimore, MD;  a daughter Margaret Pfaff of Pittsburgh; a step-daughter Becky Shuck of Manns Choice; one grand-daughter Alison; three sisters, Donna Neder and husband Eric of Courtland, VA, Michelle Walls and husband Christopher of Hagerstown, MD; Marcie Yenchenko of Cumberland, MD;   a brother Vernon Neat of Houston TX; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a great-nephew Braxton Hall.

Beverly Ann was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bedford. She graduated in 1975 from Mt. Savage High School.  She attended Hood College and after that Allegany College of Maryland where she graduated with an Associate Degree in psychology.  She worked as a director at the Bedford MHMR Workshop. She enjoyed crafts and traveling to craft shows as a vendor, doing puzzles, reading, gardening, and watching the Baltimore Orioles.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Rev. Raymond Short officiating.  Friends will be received on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS Association (alsa.org).
