Betty M. (Burket) (Suter) Harclerode

Betty M. (Suter) Harclerode, 92 of Bedford, died on January 1, 2021 at Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.  She was born on June 18, 1928 in Bedford a daughter of the late Joseph L. and Edna (Eichelberger) Burket.  She married her first husband Fred Suter and he preceded her in death on November 24, 2007.  On June 9, 1973 in Winchester, VA she married Robert S. Harclerode and he survives along with her children: a son John A. Suter and wife Linda of Fishertown; a daughter Lou Ann Lingenfelter and husband Timothy of Spotsylvania, VA; a son Patrick M. Suter of Carlisle; a daughter Pamela Feight and husband Carl of Everett; a step-daughter Judy A. Smith and husband Rev. James of Ozark, AL; and a step-daughter Terri L. Ream and husband Richard of Red Lion; 15 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Michelle Suter; and a grandson Travis Feight.

Betty was a member of the Bedford Village Church. She waitressed at the Fort Bedford Inn, and the Bedford Springs and also for many years was the manager at the Bedford County Home.  She owned and operated Bedford Pizza and Bo Be Ceramics.
