William G. Shoop

William “Bill” G. Shoop, 53, of Baynton Ave., Altoona, died Friday, November 29, 2013 at his residence. He was born on January 25, 1960, in Altoona, a son of the late Roy H. and Lutitia W. (Wertz) Shoop. He is survived by three brothers: Ken Shoop and wife Becky, Jack Shoop and wife Kathy, all of Hollidaysburg, Ritch Shoop and wife LuAnn of Tipton; one sister Ruthie Sleeth and husband Tim of Warriers Mark and long term friend, Steve Howsare of Everett. He was preceded in death by a sister, P.J. Koch.
Bill was a 1978 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and worked for Gateway Foods and then drove for Schneider Trucking Co. He enjoyed snow skiing and water skiing at Raystown lake with his family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his dog Max.
