William L. Sallada

William L. Sallada 56 of Chamberlain St., Everett, died Saturday December 2, 2006 at the Altoona Hospital.  He was born April 1, 1950 in Bedford, son of the late Lee D.

Sallada Jr. and Rae (Miller) Sallada.  On March 24, 1978 in Ferndale he married Bonnie Bingenheimer and she survives along with two sons, Thomas A. Hall Jr. married to the former Carolyn Hersman of Morgantown, WV and William L. Sallada Jr. married to the former April Calati of Dover, four grandchildren: Mary, Juliana, Lily and Rachel, a sister Kathy wife of Al Laxton of Yorktown, TX and a brother Robert L. married to the former Rosemarie Rowley of Bedford and 11 nieces and nephews.

Mr. Sallada was a 1968 graduate of Bedford High School and graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 1972 with a BS  Degree in Criminal Justice.  He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, member of the Bedford Fired Dept. #1 and was the Everett Borough Manager, he was also a member of C.E.R.T.  He worked as a probation officer for Bedford County and prior to that as a Bedford Borough Police officer.  He was a local Civil War Historian.

Funeral Services: Wednesday 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Douglas J. Frankenberry officiating. Burial in the New Enterprise Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 &7-9 PM at the funeral home.
