Wilmer E. Nycum 80 of N. Chamberlain St., Bedford, died Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Nason Hospital in Roaring Spring. He was born February 26, 1927 in Sproul, son of the late Luther and Mary Lena (Miller) Nycum. On June 30, 1949 in Sproul he married Shirley Kathryn Hoffman and she preceded him in death on May 15, 1995. He is survived by one daughter, Donna R. Nycum of Cleveland, Ohio, three grandchildren: Kristofer Rollins, Jenifer wife of Jason Felice and Melissa Rollins and Fiancé Joshua Lindsey, two great grandchildren, Joshua and Juliana Felice. Also surviving are four brothers: Dale Nycum of California, Vernon Nycum of Altoona, Melvin Nycum and wife Flora of Johnstown, Alan Nycum and wife Donna of East Freedom and friend and companion Arla Johnson of Bedford. He was preceded in death by one daughter Linda Kay Rollins on July 2, 2006, a sister Dorothy Fickes and two brothers Kenneth and Donald Nycum.
Visitation will be at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
Funeral Services will be held at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home in Mentor, Ohio on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 11:00 AM where a visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
