William S. Humphrey

William Scott Humphrey, 68, of Hill Side Drive, New Paris, died Saturday, January 5, 2013 at his residence. He was born on October 9, 1944, the son of the late Kenneth Hengst and Bonnie Greer.  He is survived by a son,  Scott Humphrey of New Kensington, a daughter, Jamie Hoffman and husband Bryan of New Baltimore, two sisters, Doris Claycomb of Claysburg, and Ruth Smith of Bedford, one brother, Paul  Hengst of Bedford.

He worked for Eagle One Security and helped his son renovate homes in the Pittsburgh area. He was a great father to his children and was well liked by his neighbors. He loved his dogs, and enjoyed spending time skating with his daughter at the roller arena.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Timothy A Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford, with Rev. Richard Whetstone officiating.  Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park.  Friends will be received on Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.  Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
