William A. Fletcher

William A. "Bink" Fletcher, 68, of Sweet Root Road Bedford, went to be with the lord on Friday, February 15, 2008 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.  He was born on March 29, 1939 in Bedford, a son of the late William and Cora (Bingham) Fletcher. On October 25, 1959 in Bedford, he married Doris Mellott and she survives along with the following family, two sons:  Scott married to the former Jamie Bowser, of North Carolina, Kurt Fletcher of Bedford, one daughter, Billie Fletcher-Haines wife of Andrew of Hollidaysburg. Three grandchildren Brandon, Sam, & Margaret, one great grandson Dravon, four Brothers:  Kenneth Fletcher of Everett, Dale Fletcher, Bob Fletcher and Randy Fletcher all of Bedford, three sisters, Francis Stankon, of Virginia, Gay Ann Wilson of Muncy, and Holly Smith of Tampa, FL.   He was preceded in death by one son William Fletcher, one granddaughter Lexi and one sister Coralee.

Mr. Fletcher had an amazing spirit and was very dedicated to his family.  He was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, and will be sadly missed by his family.

Funeral Services on Tuesday, February 19, 2008, at 11:00 AM in the chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with the Rev. Samuel Rust and Rev.
