William J. Baer

William J. Baer Jr. 74 of Imlertown Rd., died Monday August 7, 2000 at his home.  He was born on May 7, 1926 in Somerset, son of S. Margaret (Roby) Baer of Somerset and the late William J. Baer Sr. On August 6, 1949 in Sipesville he married Ruth Critchfield and she survives along with the following children:  William J. Baer III married to the former Susan Brown, David S. Baer married to the former Lesley Eyman, Mark C. Baer married to the former Lynn Fisher, Amy wife of Layne Cober, all of Bedford, 9 Grandsons: Joel A. Koontz, Matthew J. Baer, Jeffery C. Baer, Luke A. Baer, William J. Baer, Wade C. Baer, Kyle D. Baer, Connor J. Baer, Blake R. Baer, 2 Granddaughters: Elizabeth C. Duhai, Karen M. Duhai, and 1 Step grandson: Justin Cober., also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Jacqueline B. Coffarth of Sacramento California, Betty L. Baer of Green bay Wisconsin.  Richard R Baer married to the former Jo Ann Custer of Osage Iowa, Thomas L. Baer married to the former Dorothy Lape of Somerset. Mr. Baer was a charter member of the Bedford Church of Brethren.  He was as a self employed Lumberman and farmer.  He was a World War II Army veteran.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 on Wednesday at the Bedford Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Claude Hall officiating.  Friends can be received an hour prior to the service on Wednesday morning at the Brethren Church. Arrangements by Timothy A.
