W.E. Pete Decker

W. E. Pete Decker 78 of Oakview Drive, Bedford, died Sunday May 31, 2009 at his residence.  He was born May 10, 1931 in New Florence, son of the late John and Elizabeth (Prettiman) Decker.  On June 24, 1955 in Latrobe, he married Marjorie Adams and she preceded him in death on November 24, 2003.  He is survived by two daughters: Michelle Blair of Bedford and Denise wife of Sam Skipper of Mt. Union, four grandchildren; Lisa wife of Denis Sutter, Michael, Samuel and Perry, three great grandchildren; Brittany, Kaitlin and Ava, a sister Evelyn Mort of Bedford and a brother Frank Decker of Kansas.  He was preceded in death by three brothers; James, Thomas and Barney, and two sisters; Veda and Phyllis.

Mr. Decker was the owner of the former Better Tires and was a former member of the Bedford Rotary Club.  He enjoyed watching Nascar Racing and being with his family.

Memorial Services: Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Rev.
