Warren M. Geisler

Warren M. Geisler, 74, of Hall St., Bedford, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the Altoona Regional Hospital.  He was born November, 28, 1937 in Hyndman, son of the late Russell and Helen (Corley) Geisler.  On February 8, 1958, in Ellerslie, MD, he married Donna Rae Waugerman, who survives along with a son Greg L. Geisler and fiancé Trina Dull of Bedford and a daughter Pamela wife of Darryl Schrift of Reading.  Also surviving are four grandchildren; Michael and Michele Schrift and Jeff Geisler married to the former Jennifer Montgomery, and Steven Geisler, two great grandchildren Wyatt and Noah Geisler, two brothers; Jack Geisler and wife Theresa of Buffalo Mills, Donald Geisler and wife Mary of Ocala, FL, and a sister Janet wife of Tony Roy of Bedford.

Warren was a member of St. John’s UCC Church, a member of the Wills Mountain Archery Club, and was active in the Bedford Mat Club.  He had a passion for baseball and softball, and enjoyed going to see his grandchildren play sports.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John’s UCC Church in Bedford with Rev. Paul Claycomb officiating.  Burial will be at Bedford County Memorial Park.  Friends will be received on Thursday evening from 4-8 p.m. at the Timothy A.
