Walter M. Logue, 85, of Blackburn Avenue, Bedford, died Friday, July 31, 2015, at his residence.  He was born on May 6, 1930, in Hyndman, a son of the late Charles and Mary (Clites) Logue.  On April 11, 1953, in Ellerslie, MD he married Inda K. (Waugerman) Logue, his wife of 62 years, who survives along with two sons: Larry Logue married to the former Debra Moore, of Mechanicsburg, and Jeffrey Logue, married to the former Jackie Deaner, of Bedford; seven grandchildren: Lauren, Lisa, Stephen, Rachael, Josh, Natalie, and Hillary; and a sister, Mary Lou, of Atlanta, GA.  He was preceded in death by seven brothers: Elmer, Lawrence, Donley, John, Charles, Paul, and Ray Logue; and a sister, Helen.

Mr. Logue was an Army Veteran, serving in Japan during the Korean War. He then retired after 39 years, from Kelly Springfield Tire, in Cumberland, MD. He was a member of the Bedford American Legion Post #113, F & AM Lodge #589, and the Bedford Elks Lodge #1707.  He enjoyed golfing, and traveling, visiting all the states except Alaska.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor Fran Scott, officiating.  Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park, with full military rites conducted by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.  Friends will be received on Monday, from 2-4 to 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.  Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com
