Walter L. Croyle

Walter L. Croyle 73 of Friendship Village, Bedford, died Sunday June 4, 2000, at his home. He was born August 11, 1926 in Pavia, son of the late Shannon and Hazel (Gardner) Croyle Koza. On April 25, 1946 in Cumberland he married Evelyn Gaudig and she survives along with the following children Nancy wife of Joe Critchfield of Bedford, Joseph married to the former Wanda Bowman of Breezewood, Joann Trimpey of Bedford and, Cindy wife of Raymond Doris of Hollywood, Fla., 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers Vernon and Robert.
He was a member of the Everett Zion Lutheran Church. He had worked as a farmer for 45 years and retired from Memorial Hospital of Bedford County in 1991 where he had worked as a custodian.
Funeral Services: Thursday 11:00 AM from the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with the Rev. Rex Lusk of the Bedford Bible Church. Burial in the Everett Cemetery. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 Pm at the funeral home.
