Virginia M. Wise 95 of Colonial Courtyard, Bedford died Monday, January 22, 2007 at Colonial Courtyard. She was born August 12, 1911 in Bedford, daughter of the late Frank H. and Mary Catherine (Carbaugh) Milburn. On October 19, 1935 in Bedford she married Donald F. Wise and he preceded her in death on February 18, 1986. She is survived by two sons: James E. “Nick” Wise married to the former Joyce Will of Bedford and William F. Wise married to the former Francis Fox of York, six grandchildren: Steve, Scott, Mark, Bill Jr., Carrie, Mark and Mike, eleven great grandchildren: Tyler, Chelsi, Brittany, Madison, Emma, Noah, Micah, Kate, Hannah, Abigail and Anna and a brother Hugh Milburn of New Paris. She was preceded in death by two infant grandchildren, Kaleb and Anna, three brothers: Bill, Fred and Charles Milburn and two Sisters Betty Milburn and Daisy McNoldy.
Mrs. Wise was a member of St. Johns’ United Church of Church in Bedford.
Funeral Services: Friday 11:00 AM from the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Rev. Raymond E. Short officiating. Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park. Friends will be received on Thursday evening from 7-9 PM and one hour prior to the service on Friday morning.
