Virginia Winegardner

Virginia Winegardner, 85, of Meadow View Nursing Center, Berlin, formerly of Schellsburg, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at Windber Medical Center. She was born on June 16, 1919 in Napier TWP. A daughter of the late Earl A. and Ella E. (Felix) Miller. On September 22, 1939 in Winchester, Va, She married the late John H. Winegardner , who preceded her in death on February 27, 1982. She is survived by the following family, 3 Daughters, Donna Hockenberry of Mt. Holly Springs, Barbara wife of John McCreary of Centreville, MD, Peggy wife of David Hinson of Harrisburg, 4 sons: Larry married to the former Alice Bostock of Manns Choice, Ronald Winegardner of Schellsburg, Robert Winegardner of Bedford, and William married to the former Marcy Altman of Manns Choice, 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 3 Sisters, Alverta Foreback of Chambersburg, Gladys Crichton of Manns Choice, Dixie Wilson of Johnstown, and 1 Brother, Richard Miller of Johnstown. She was preceded in death by 1 son: Ricky, 2 grandchildren: Christopher Winegardner & Andrew Double, 1 infant brother: Dorlan, 3 sisters: Vera Potts, J. Bernadine Miller, and Doris Field.
She was a member of the Ryot Nazarene church. She will be loved and remembered by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at 11:00 AM from the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford, with the Rev. Ralph Landis officiating, burial in Schellsburg Cemetery. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 7-9 PM, at the funeral home.
