Vanessa J. Kring, 48, of Mississippi Road, Buffalo Mills, died Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at Her Residence. She was born on November 13, 1956 in Windber, A Daughter of Anna Jane "Mickle" Kring of New Paris and the late John W. Kring . In May of 1995 in Winchester, VA She married Edmund Lee Manges who preceded her in death on October 12, 1997. She is survived by the following family, a half brother, Stanford D.Worrell married to the former Patricia McMillen of New Paris, a brother, John W. Kring married to the former Connie Daley of Fishertown, 1 sister, Valerie McCardell wife of Amado Torres of Nashville, TN, and True Friend & Companion, David Felker of Buffalo Mills, Sister in Law, Kay and husband Charles Mueller of Hyndman, very special friends, Rick & Lura Shaffer of Bedford, and many special nieces and nephews.
Her passion of flying led her to become the founding member of the Kiwanis Young Eagle Flights, and a member of EAA 400 Flight Club of Martinsburg, She was a member of the Mains Choice Church of God, Hyndman’s Chapter of the Antique Car Club, a Lioness, and also Past Member of Bedford Professional Women's Club. She Graduated from Robert Morris College in 1978 with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Funeral Services on Monday, December 27, 2004, at 11:00 AM from the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with the Pastor Richard Whetstone and Pastor Terry Campbell officiating. Burial in Lybarger Cemetery. Friends will be received on Sunday form 2-4 and 6-9 PM, at the funeral home.
