Una I. Sipes

Una Irene Sipes 76 of Locust Drive, Everett, died Tuesday August 14, 2007 at her home. She was born October 4, 1930 in Lutzville, daughter of the late Russell and Nancy (Elbin) Wigfield. On April 1, 1948 in Cumberland, MD she married Jack H. Sipes and he survives along with two sons: Steven A Sipes of Latrobe and Gregory W. Sipes married to the former Molly Sammon of Shermans Dale, also surviving is a grandson Adrian Sipes of Shermans Dale and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Allen, Herbert and Reid Wigfield husband of Mary Wigfield of Yellow Creek, two sisters: Ruth Swindel and Mary Wells and a nephew Loyal Paul McManus.
Mrs. Sipes was a member of the First Christian Church in Everett. She was an avid gardener and loved her pets.
Graveside service: Thursday 11:00 am at the Everett Cemetery with Rev. Robert R. Robertson officiating. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to the Humane Society of Bedford County, 1108 Lutzville Road, Everett, PA 15537.
