Thomas L. Leister

Thomas L. Leister, 55, of Belden Road, Bedford, died Saturday, June 21, 2014. He was born on December 20, 1958, in Bedford, a son of Elwood and Marie (Shaffer) Leister, surviving of Bedford. He married Carla (Boors) Leister who survives along with the following family: two sons, Timothy Leister and Sean Leister, at home; three brothers: Paul Leister and wife Elaine, Daniel Leister and wife Kelly, John Leister and wife Sherry, all of Bedford; four sisters, Connie wife of Bob Harclerode, of Bedford, Jenny Wagoner, of Everett, Mary wife of Les Baker, and Laura wife of David Hyde, both of Bedford; father-in-law, John Boors, of Altoona, mother-in-law, Carol Boors, of Bedford; sister-in-law, Kim wife of Steve Allen, of New Columbia, brother-in-law, Bob Boors and wife Lisa Boors, of Bedford, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Thomas attended the Wills Mountain Church of Christ, and was a Driver for Blair County Oil Company.  He was a loving father and son.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at 3:00 p.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor Daniel Leister officiating.  Burial at Woods Church Cemetery, in Rainsburg.  Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 1-3 p.m., and on Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m., at the funeral home.
